Technical Division

The courses of study within the Career/Technical Division are designed for students who wish to go directly into the employment field following graduation. These courses are tailored to employment needs of area businesses and industries.

The objectives of the Career/Technical Division are to provide meaningful educational opportunities appropriate to the needs of students in relation to their futures in the world of work and to strive to develop individual talents, regardless of students' limitations and potentials.

Wallace State Community College is holding NC3 National Letter of Intent Signing Day from10 p.m. to 12 p.m., on Thursday, April 16, 2026. New students for the 2026-27 school year will take part in a signing ceremony, similar to an athletic signing.

This national event sponsored by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) mirrors the NCAA’s National Signing Day for athletes who commit to play sports in college. It is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and to celebrate the dignity of work. 

Students planning to enroll in technical programs this fall at Wallace State are invited to attend the NC3 National Letter of Intent Singing Day and can register at www.wallacestate.edu/nc3event2026
