Wallace State Dominates South Georgia Technical College
Wallace State Community College showcased a powerful performance on their home court,
defeating South Georgia Technical College 102-85 in an electrifying game at the Traditions
Bank Arena in the Tom Drake Coliseum on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Sophomore guard Kendarius Anderson lit up the scoreboard with a game-high 24 points,
including six three-pointers on 6-of-9 shooting. Fellow sophomore Kami Young added
22 points and six assists, while maintaining a perfect 7-for-7 performance at the
free-throw line.
Sophomore center Christian Thompson dominated the paint with 15 points and 11 rebounds,
securing his second consecutive double-double. Off the bench, sophomore guard Authur
Johnson provided a significant boost with 18 points and six rebounds, while freshman
Sawyer Griffin contributed 12 points, sinking four three-pointers.
Wallace State's high-powered offense was on full display, shooting 47.4 percent from
the field and 37.2 percent from beyond the arc. The Lions out-rebounded South Georgia
Tech 41-39 and displayed strong ball movement with 18 assists.
